There are two components to the Initiation training. Included with your registration you will have access to the Initiation online module. Please complete this module before the in-class component. The basics from this online course are used in the classroom

Welcome Coaches

Port Arthur Nationals Baseball and Westfort Little League are hosting NCCP Initiation Coaches clinics May 11th for all interested coaches.

The clinic will cover topics intended to aid youth coaches in providing a safe, fun experience for their athletes. Upon completion of the clinic coaches will be considered NCCP Initiation – Trained. They will receive training in:

• Making Ethical Decisions – Apply correctly the NCCP Make Ethical Decisions model

• Provide Support to Athletes in Training – Run a practice session that is fun, safe and keeps children actively engaged

• Support the Competitive Experience – Explain the fundamentals of the Game so children understand and successfully play in a game

The course is the introductory course for coaches interested in acquiring the regional or provincial coach designation and also as a stand-alone course for all house league coaches.
